Naphyrone (NRG-1) Banned!

A not so “legal high,” is now being classified as a class B drug. Naphyrone, sold as NRG-1, has been banned under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Not only is this once “legal high” being banned but it’s associated compounds of Naphyrone have been banned since July 7, 2010. The reason for the ban? The Advisory Council for the Misuse of Drugs claimed that the drug could “cause real harm due to its potency and associated health effects”. The government was “deeply concerned” about the product consume labeled as a “legal high” on the streets.
