How Our Helpline Works

For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, the helpline is a private and convenient solution.

Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by American Addiction Centers (AAC).

We are standing by 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work solely for AAC and will discuss whether an AAC facility may be an option for you.

Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither nor AAC receives any commission or other fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.

For more information on AAC’s commitment to ethical marketing and treatment practices, or to learn more about how to select a treatment provider, visit our About AAC page.

If you wish to explore additional treatment options or connect with a specific rehab center, you can browse top-rated listings, or visit SAMHSA.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi became an overnight star when her reality show, Jersey Shore premiered on MTV in late 2009. Snooki is known for her love of pickles, obsession with tan “guidos”, and her crazy drunken antics. America has watched as Snooki and the rest of her cast make drunken messes of themselves on national television. Personally, I think it’s no surprise that Snooki has a long history of partying and alcohol abuse.
In 2004, Snooki was one of three people charged in connection with a classmate who was killed in a drunken driving accident. The teen, Michael Truncali, had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood when he died while driving his car home from a party at Snooki’s house. Snooki was charged with “Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages”. Truncali’s mother claims to have watched Snooki’s antics on the reality show and believes the show glorifies alcoholic and excessive partying.
On July 3rd 2010, Snooki was arrested after behaving erratically while intoxicated. She told people Magazine in a recent interview all she remembers was waking up in the “drunk tank”. As a strategy to cut down on her drinking before her August 18th court date, Snooki plans to not drink during the day, only the evenings. According to Snooki’s ex-boyfriend, she is definitely an alcoholic. Snooki will drink until she falls and then drink again.
