Sober College
Sober College is a residential program that provides an innovative, supportive, and sober environment for young adults to recover from chemical dependency and related issues. We also offer opportunities through our online university.
We consider young adults ages 17-26 in need of a supportive, sober environment supplemented by substance abuse treatment. Sober College accepts both male and female applicants who require drug rehab, alcohol rehab, and addiction treatment. Our substance abuse treatment curriculum builds competencies in Sobriety, Life Skills, Physical Fitness, Academics, and Emotional Well-Being . Our mission is full recovery, giving young adults the skills and treatment necessary to lead lives free from addiction and substance abuse. Sober College provides a customized learning experience using accredited curriculum, individualized and group instruction and cutting-edge technology. Our expert staff supports and guides each student on their individualized academic journey and prepares them for long-term success. We offer high school completion, vocational training and college courses, both traditional and online. Whether you are in need of a GED or a Master's degree, Sober College can help you achieve your goals.

Treatment Philosophy:
The Concept of Sober College is born out of an understanding of young adults struggling to recover from drug and alcohol use and addiction. The development of the concept is based on three core ideas:
Treatment and recovery for young adults is more effective when they are surrounded by others their same age.
Given the right environment, young adults will respond positively.
The longer a young adult can be in a treatment environment, the better the chances for lasting success.
Sober College has been developed based on research, numerous conversations with young adult experts and thought leaders, but most importantly, based on the dexperience of young adults coming out of treatment settings and struggling to make it in college and the "real world".
Newly Sober Young Adults or those needing to be in a sober and controlled environment have specific challenges that are often overlooked by traditional transitional programs, sober living environments and educational settings. The Sober College response comes in the form of our integrated curriculum , which frames the program for delivering life skills to participants.
