What can Substance Abuse Services do for you? Our Substance Abuse Services provides you an opportunity to make positive changes in your life concerning your use. Our programs provide a individualized approach to treatment. We deal with the ?whole? person in treatment. An individualized treatment plan is develop with your assistance to address your issues. We are here to help you meet your goals. The Substance Abuse Services provide both Outpatient and Residential programs to adolescents and adults. Our programs provide a wide range of services based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine Patient Placement Criteria for the Treatment of Substance-Related Disorders (ASAM) levels of care. The following programs are available. Adult Intensive Outpatient Program Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program Jail Based Services Program Outpatient Substance Abuse Program CWCC operates 3 Residential Substance Abuse Treatment programs that serve residents of the State of Wyoming. Each of the programs develops an individualized treatment plan and the length of treatment is based on client need. Individuals who are considering admission need to plan for approximately 40 to 90 days of residential treatment. Clients are expected to continue Substance Abuse Treatment following completion of a Residential Program.

Central Wyoming Counseling Center is a comprehensive Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Center that was founded in 1959 as a Wyoming not for profit corporation. It is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of twelve citizens who are elected to three year terms. From its rather small beginning in 1959 as a largely volunteer operated mental health clinic, the Center has grown into a comprehensive Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Center that offers a wide variety of specialized programs and services. The Center currently has a staff of over 70 licensed or certified Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment professionals, nurses, physicians, psychiatrists, as well as over 25 clerical staff, residential staff, and therapeutic treatment homes. With this staff the Center operates five major programs consisting of Outpatient Mental Health Treatment Services, Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Services, Therapeutic Family Care and Wrap-Around Treatment Services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment Services, and Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities.
