David Niemeier Ph.D

Dr. Niemeier is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in helping people with personal, family and psychological problems. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. He interned at Pine Rest Christian Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received a post graduate certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry and has had additional training in object relations family therapy. Dr. Niemeier is a Fellow and Past President of the Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists. He is Past Chairman of the Virginia Board of Psychology, a member of the American Psychological Association, the Virginia Psychological Association and the Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists.
