The Second Road

www.thesecondroad.org is a  free, non-profit, 24/7 website by and for people in recovery.  We have one mission - to spread the message of one addict helping another to a global audience.  No matter the addiction, come to www.thesecondroad.org to find others who care, and who are willing to share their journey with you.  We have a large blogging community, recovery videos, chat rooms, inspirational information, book and movie reviews, a "live" chat with an expert in recovery every Sunday night, and lots more. The Second Road is open to anyone's journey in recovery and welcomes alternative, as well as 12 step based programs.  The destination is continuing recovery. The way to get there is The Second Road. We do not ascribe to one treatment philosophy, and accept and invite anyone to share "their" journey with us.  We are an open platform for and by people in recovery from any addiction to help others along the way. The addiction, doesn't matter - addiction is addiction.  What does matter is that your journey to and through recovery may be a perfect fit for others and we encourage diversity and open-mindedness in all areas of the recovery journey.  We would love to have you join our community as we reach out to any and everyone who strives toward a full and health life.  Something we ALL deserve.  Come be a part of our community.  You'll be glad you did!
