About Us
Programs are based on the belief that chemical dependency is a progressive illness that affects the individual in a holistic sense. All programs subscribe to total abstinence, the 12-Step Recovery program, and are tobacco free per South Dakota Law, and contain a minimum of the following services:
Comprehensive Needs Assessment
Formal academics and/or GED
Individual and group alcohol and other drug counseling
Introduction to 12-Step work and 12-Step meetings
Education (alcohol and other drug specific), irresponsible thought patterns, etc.
Family education and counseling
Relapse Prevention and Aftercare planning

Timberline Treatment Center offers a continuum of chemical dependency programs for adolescent males and females, ages 13-17. Youth interact with certified chemical dependency counselors and trained rehabilitation workers. Program emphasis includes comprehensive needs assessment, individual and group counseling, family counseling, relapse prevention, aftercare planning, and academic success.
Areas Served:Rapid City, Spearfish, and surrounding Northern Hills areas (outpatient programs); state of South Dakota (inpatient and short term relapse programs).
