About Us
The firs tprogram fo out agency – a twenty-five bed residential program – opened in Swissvale in 1991. Power house continues to be Allegheny County’s only halfway house program specifically for adult women, and through the generosity and support of the community, we have been able to serve more than 1,500 women who areworking hard to create new lies after the devestation of chemical dependency.
