Veritas Therapeutic Community Inc

Founded in 1971 by NYC West Side families and the staff of Roosevelt Hospital Department of Pediatrics.   Operates three residential programs with a total of 231 beds (including 30 children), plus other programs that serve 1,000 additional clients with a total annual budget of approximately $6 million.   Licensed by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and funded by New York State, New York City, the federal government, private foundations and individual contributions.  

Veritas understands that treatment is not just a matter of doing good work. It’s a matter of doing good work well and that is a function of resources.
