The ACCA is a nonprofit corporation committed to community based alcoholism and other chemical dependencies education, prevention, treatment, and recovery activities in the Capital Region. Inspired almost 40 years ago, our Council continues to search for new and innovative ways to serve the community. ACCA is a private, nonprofit corporation, whose Board and staff are committed to providing high quality, comprehensive treatment, housing, intervention and education to those who suffer from alcoholism and other chemical dependencies

The Addictions Care Center of Albany empowers individuals, families and communities to advance beyond addiction and overcome barriers to healing through an array of quality, compassionate care and prevention programs. ACCA respects each individual's unique journey through recovery and believes the disease of addiction is both preventable and treatable
