Elk Mountain Academy

Founded by Carl and Loretta Olding in January 1994. We provide young men ages 14 thru 18 experience having fun while being sober. We are 12 step based. Carl has been clean and sober for 29 years, sobering up at age 19. We are a fully accredited high school. We have a motor cross track on campus. We have two ski boats for wake boarding, surfing, water skiing, tubbing, and wake skaking. Winter activities cent around Schweitzer ski resort where we go at least one day a week for skiing and snow boarding.

We work the steps and go to meetings in town 5 are available weekly. Meetings are also held on campus every night. Each student step work is tracked. Having fun being sober is a major peace of what we do here. We have 3 therapists for 25 students. All three have Masters degrees in Clinical psychology.
