Mississippi detox centers are spread throughout the state since it is a witness to a rising number of substance abuse cases in the past few years. The importance that the state places in its drug detoxification program is highlighted by the fact that it spent nearly $21 million in 2006 for rehabilitation programs in various Mississippi drug detox centers.

Despite the efforts taken by the state to promote drug detoxification through the numerous Mississippi drug detox centers, statistics show that the state lags behind many others in terms of finances spent and facilities offered. However, the state government is certainly putting in all efforts to successfully bring addicts back onto the roadway to a healthy lifestyle.
