Volunteers of America Womens Recovery Center
The Women's Recovery Center (WRC) is a 90-day program for chemically dependent adult women who have who have experienced multiple traumas particularly those associated with a lifestyle of prostitution. WRC is licensed as an extended care residential chemical dependency treatment facility. It is located 15-minutes north of Saint Paul on a secluded, wooded lakefront. Women enrolled in the program receive treatment for chemical dependency and related mental health problems, and receive independent living skills training and housing placement. Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America of Minnesota is one of the oldest, largest and most comprehensive human service organizations in the state.
