All patient care is individualized and includes input from physicians, nurses, chemical dependency counselors and recovery case managers. The addiction treatment team meets regularly to monitor each patient’s progress through the program, and treatment at all levels of care includes medication, monitoring, and disease education. We believe mending a life means treating the whole person: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We are experienced in the creating the “right” program for treatment of many types of substance abuse, including alcoholism, stimulants (cocaine, “crack”, methamphetamines or “meth”), opiates and other depressants (heroin, oxycontin, prescription pain killers), prescription drug addictions and marijuana. Many people suffer from addiction to two or more substances simultaneously. Our skilled addiction treatment staff are trained and experienced at handling these more complex addictions. We also address other behaviors that may complicate addiction recovery, including compulsive gambling, eating disorders, codependency and compulsive sexual behaviors. The type of substance abuse treatment a patient receives depends on many factors, including what substance or substances the person is using, the amount and frequency of use, prior addiction treatment history and motivation to change. All levels of care prepare patients to return to their previous environment with new skills to help maintain sobriety, prevent relapse and continue recovery.
