Del Amo Behavioral Health System

  The Eating Disorders Recovery Program at Del Amo is an intensive, comprehensive program for adult men and women struggling with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Compulsive Overeating and Eating Disorders, Not Otherwise Specified, including Binge Eating. Del Amo offers both an Inpatient Program and Partial Program to meet the needs of our clients.     The Trauma Recovery Program at Del Amo specializes in the "Trauma Model" of treatment. This model utilizes cognitive therapies to guide the client towards self awareness and trauma resolution. The Trauma Recovery Program is designed as a highly-structured Inpatient Program which can be stepped down to a Partial Hospitalization Program.     Sexual Addiction Recovery Program: The core issues related to the treatment of sexual addiction rests in the identification of thought distortions, repressed feelings, negative core beliefs and maladaptive coping mechanisms related to a repetitive pattern of resulting sexual obsessions. Our therapeutic approach utilizes a 12-step addiction model combined with trauma recovery elements to promote recovery and encourage personal responsibility.     The Adult Detoxification Program is designed for dually-diagnosed clients in need of Medical Detoxification. Del Amo’s multidisciplinary approach provides assessment, stabilization, treatment, and discharge planning.
