Darls Centola is a Licensed Psychotherapist with a specialization in chemical dependency and addiction. Her private practice is in Mar Vista, California.
She has been working with youth, individuals, couples and families for over a decade. Darls conducts family workshops focusing on the nature of addiction and guides family members through the unique journey of healing. She has worked with Sober College, facilitating the family weekends and conducts educational/discussion groups at Magnolia Place Sober Living for Women.
Darls earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii and an undergraduate degree from Antioch University Los Angeles. She holds a credential from CAADE (California Alcohol and Drug Educators).
Darls has an extensive background working with individuals struggling with issues related to trauma, depression and grief.
Most recently Darls has been focusing on providing Clinical Supervision to therapist trainees in the Los Angeles Area. She has a consulting business with a focus on assisting individuals, families and organizations to better understand — and perhaps solve — some of the alcohol/chemical dependency issues they faces. She is available to teach, speak, provide trainings, and program development.
In addition Darls conducts interactive therapeutic sessions via telephone to provide people who cannot access services the opportunity to receive help.
Darls also is an aspiring writer, who is working on publishing a number of books and articles.
