Since 1996, Herbert House has provided an alcohol and drug free sober living environment to hundreds of recovering men and women. The cornerstone of Herbert House’s philosophy is respect for every individual as a unique, lovable human being. We honor and understand that each person's journey is an exceptional one, and we offer care, compassion and community to meet the individual needs of each resident through the following program components: Individualized, tailored program supported by daily supervision, random drug/alcohol testing and weekly progress assessment. Nurturing, family-like atmosphere with social and recreational opportunities as desired. Comprehensive referral program and library of support services to achieve individual goals: education, career development and placement, legal, psychological, volunteer. Co-ed environment replicates real life and provides experience in living sober with both men and women. Onsite 12-step and recovery meetings. Zero tolerance for substance usage monitored by random, weekly testing.
