am interested in helping adults who are experiencing depression, sadness, anxiety, loss. emotional pain from childhood, midlife distress, and struggles in relationships.  In therapy, we are able to hold a different kind of conversation, one which will deepen the meaning of your experiences, transform your suffering into hope, and let you to further cultivate your own distinctive voice and to commit to your own unique life projects.  My hope is that our work together will allow you to transcend limiting ways of being and relating, and become more fully present to your own possibilities.  This site is provided to people who may be in receiving counseling and psychotherapeuticservices through my private practice located in Birmingham, Alabama
