Charlie Sheen to Enter Rehab
Actor Charlie Sheen of “Two and a Half Men,” pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife back in December of 2009. He has been sentenced to 30 days in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in California.
Based on the plea seal he reached with prosecutors, Sheen will also be doing 3 months of probation. Violation of his probation would include ingesting any drugs, including prescription, or consume an excessive amount of alcohol. Along with his 30 day rehab and 3 month probation, Sheen will also be attending 36 hours of mandatory anger management classes.
Sheen’s 30 day sentence has been suspended on account of his completion of his probation and rehab program. After his court trial Sheen stated that he was, “very grateful” for the court’s decision and that he was looking forward to obeying the courts verdict and moving on with his life.
Looks as if Charlie Sheen’s response to his consequences of action are more promising than Miss Lindsay Lohan. As with everyone, actions speak louder than words so only time will tell. At least in this case the judge required Mr. Sheen to not only look at his alcohol problem, but an under lying problem of anger also.
