Do You Ever Stop Being an Addict or Alcoholic?

Do You Ever Stop Being an Addict or Alcoholic?

Do you ever stop becoming an addict or alcoholic?  I have had many conversations with fellow alcoholics about this topic and in my opinion once someone has become addicted to something the disease of addiction never leaves the mind.  It will always be there, until the day you die. Since I was a little kid I believe that addiction has run through my blood.  The first thing I remember being addicted to was those “claw” games, … Read entire article »

Kathie Lee Gifford Criticizes Parents of Addicts and Gets Criticized in Return

Kathie Lee Gifford, a very well-known and recognized T.V personality star, featured on countless shows, has done very well for herself over the years.  Her most famous role was appearing alongside Regis Philbin as his co-host on the daytime talk show, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. The first few … Read entire article »

Dry Bars: Fun in Sobriety

Dry Bars: Fun in Sobriety

“What you’ll have” or “What can I get you” the bar tender asks you as you approach the bar and sit down.  You ask for a shot of Patron Silver with a bit of ice and a Corona to wash it down.  After a few more drinks you receive your tab, look at it, and empty your wallet full of Andrew Jackson’s.  Resentful that you even stepped foot in the bar, you leave drunk and … Read entire article »
