New Bill would Send Drug Bust Money to Addiction Treatment Centers
A proposal was approved by the Illinois House stating the county prosecutors would donate the money seized during drug busts to local treatment centers for substance abuse. A percentage of the money from drug busts goes to state’s attorneys and the rest goes to other law enforcement agencies. 3 Year Old Diagnosed as World’s Youngest Alcoholic
The state-run National Health Service (NHS) in central England diagnosed the youngest alcoholic to date. A three year old was sent to West Midlands hospital to get treated for alcoholism. Health officials cannot give any further details because of patient confidentiality rules. There have been cases in the UK with youngsters abusing alcohol ages 12 and under but never this young.
