High School Using In-House Program to Combat Teenage Drug Addiction
Canada has a growing rate in oxycodone addiction among teens. Dennis Franklin Cromarty High school has come up with a solution to this problem. New Bill would Send Drug Bust Money to Addiction Treatment Centers
A proposal was approved by the Illinois House stating the county prosecutors would donate the money seized during drug busts to local treatment centers for substance abuse. A percentage of the money from drug busts goes to state’s attorneys and the rest goes to other law enforcement agencies. Quetiapine Proves to be No Use to Cocaine Addicts
New research suggests that the atypical antipsychotic agent quetiapine (Seroquel, AstraZeneca) appears to provide no benefit for the treatment of cocaine addiction.
